Another, maybe silly, question!!
but really, it's become a problem for me!
how do we ask about date in En?
and how do we answer?
and how do we read these answers??

I mean, for instance, I say

what's the date today?
is it correct to say
It's Tir, 5??
and we read it as: It's Tir the fifth???



I just went crazy. can anyone help? I found some answers by searching the net, but it didn't help!

and one more thing, in British they say it like, day/month/year
and in American it's month/day/year ??

?we'd better ask like this : what's today's date
and the answer could be something like this one : it's may the fifth
.though again I'm not so definite about what I just said
