I have a suggestion and I wanna know your idea about it
I think as we think the most of matters and things are acceptable in the ili but there is a deprivation of Free Discussion classes at least for High and Advance levels, isn't it?

dear sedna it's not a new problem
i think every term we had it, and nothing we could do
unfortunately there is less focus and attention to speaking skills in ili.

actually if there were such classes,of course it would be much better
!but I don't know if there are any empty rooms
?how do you want these classes to be held,Sedna
?have you ever taken part in any classes of Free Discussion somewhere else

mammad you know! we've done such thing in the free time of our class but just for one term
and it was useful but doing it as a common item in the classes as what is done in advance level but by spending more time on speaking instead of answering the questions , I think will be better, won't be?

!they all say that the most important part to which we must pay the most attention is Writing
.but ,just like you, I think speaking is the most significant ability that an ILI student should own

so what can we do for it?

you know, IRan is not a country which has a lot of tourists with a chance you can get and talk to them face-to-face
!it's just you and the normal citizens
if you find somebody of your knowledge in English,you're lucky
!and if you don't,you should speak with yourself like some crazy people

i think teachers should do sth and my idea is that they can improve speaking skill becaunei know some teacher and also my teacher speaking alot and she always tell us that here is english class and we should speaking english more and i love her and i think sh is the best teacher in our branch

yes sare we talk every time in English in the class ( it's a useful rule in the ili) esp. in adv. level but my matter is that we should practice more in our classes and I think free discussion can be a good excuse for it

!teachers are helpful but even in Advanced classes the number of students are more that it expected
I think in advanced levels students shouldn't be more than at most 8 so that the chance of participating in all the activities of the class for everyone will get higher
and
!of course it will be much easier for the teacher too

sedna also i mean that we speak like free discussion when we have free time but i dont know about adv

yes your right but in our class although we are 16 but most of the time we are 3 or 4 who try to speak most of the time and you know my teacher manages the class very well and asks every one even the lazy ones to speak and because of this I think ili should do sth for it as you said it can either set the free discussion classes or set the classes with less students than now

Again I say that we as students should insist on setting the free discussion classes or at least try to make free time in our classes to do such thing

all these right, but is there any suggestion box or something similar in our institutes so that we can make our suggestions such as a Free Discussion class and drop it in
?and maybe someone will take care of these suggestions

!I don't think teachers after all their hardships in the classroom will accept to have some other extra free discussion classes

there are speaking classes in some branches, as far as I know. you can take part if your branch has it
